Counselling Services

Life can feel overwhelming, confusing or lonely. Sometimes you know exactly what is wrong. Sometimes you just feel stuck, low, or not quite yourself, and you can’t put your finger on why.

Counselling gives you space to slow down, make sense of things, and reconnect with yourself, with someone alongside you who genuinely listens.

How I work

My approach is warm, calm and collaborative. I won’t diagnose you or try to fix you. We work together, at your pace, for as long as feels right for you.

I draw on person-centred, psychodynamic and existential ways of working, which simply means I adapt to you rather than fitting you into one method. The most important part of the work is the relationship between us: a space where you feel safe, respected and understood.

What people come to talk about in our counselling sessions

There is no problem too big or too small to bring. People come to me when they are facing things like:

  • Anxiety, stress and feeling overwhelmed
  • Grief, loss and big life changes
  • Trauma and difficult past experiences
  • Burnout and breakdown
  • Low self-worth and feeling lost
  • Questions of identity and belonging
  • Relationship difficulties
  • Simply feeling different, and not knowing what is wrong

Ways we can work together

You are welcome to choose the setting that feels most supportive to you:

  • Face to face, in a quiet and comfortable therapy room
  • Online, from wherever you feel at ease
  • Walk and talk therapy, side by side in the outdoors
  • Nature-based wellbeing sessions

Sessions and fees

Sessions last 50 minutes and are usually weekly, though we can find a rhythm that suits you.

If you would like to find out whether we are a good fit, you are welcome to get in touch for an initial conversation, with no obligation to book further sessions.
